As an essential part of teaching, I always try to pass on my enthusiasm for music because learning to play a musical instrument needs to be fun and enjoyable to aspiring musicians.
In doing so, I aim to work closely with students, whatever their age, and help them find the kinds of repertoire which inspire them. By adapting to the individual needs of my students, I try to help them develop and improve their skills in all areas of playing and musicianship. Equally, I believe it is important for students to understand that learning to play music is a journey and the main goal is to embrace the process, enjoy learning to play the piano and develop their own creativity along the way. All practical lessons are given on a one-to-one basis, available to any age group, and tailored with ongoing assessment and regular reviews to ensure all students get the very best from each and every lesson.
